Parts compatibility for Saito FA65
Hi,
A question for the Saito gurus.
My FA 65 had a valve keeper failure yesterday, it seemed to have occured just as, or immediately after I throttled down on approach. Anyway my question is, are the valves, SAI6546 and keepers/springs, SAI6547 that are listed for the FA72 also for the FA65, I hope It looks as though Saitos part numbering may use the first 2 digits of the part number to indicate the first engine they were designed for.
Thanks in advance for any replies,
Pete

Pete,
Saito uses Alpha Codes to designate the engine application as shown in this chart [link=http://www.horizonhobby.com/Articles/Article.aspx?ArticleID=1161]Code Chart[/link] The parts you have listed do indeed fit your engine but you can't rely on the part numbers like you have suggested.

Phil,
Thank you for the quick and helpful response. In hindsight (20/20) I shoulda wondered more about those letters in the parts listings.
Best Regards,
Pete
I'm closing the thread, the case is solved[8D]
Well I thought I could close it
