Default OS .91 2 stroke. need help

I hope someone can help. I have an OS .91 two stroke, I can start it fine and it will idle, when I throttle it up for the first time everything is as it should be, smooth, I then idle it back down and turn it around to taxi to the runway, when I throttle it back up it quits. Do I have to have to have a pump on this or is it a matter of some other adjustment I'm over looking? I appreciate anyone's help. Thanks, Jim

Yup - get that low speed as lean as it can go while retaining its spool-up capability. Also, use new OS #8 plug and make sure your fuel is fresh.

Ok thanks guys I have to go to the hobby shop tomorrow and I'll get the glow plug and fuel and see what happens. I'll also check the low idle setting. Thanks for your help everyone.

I also checked the pressure to the tank and it seems to be good. Thanks, Jim

IF. . . you have the needle valve integral with the backplate of the engine you need to get the separate needle valve as in the current production models. The integral needle valve was problematic.
