OS 46FX serge
What would cause my OS 46 FX to serge in the air at half or less throttle? would the bottom end cause this and if so would it be leaning in the air?
Here in TX its starting to warm up, would this cause the engine to lean out more or would the warm air cause the engine to richen in the air. I'm not sure if our altitude would case enough thin air so I was ruling that out.
Thanks
Blackie

OS 46FX serge
I had one do this when it was new.
It went away after the low needle was tuned I don't recall whether it was too lean or rich. Currently the low end is tuned just a bit rich, I've never touched since it was originally tuned, and it never surges. It seems OS ships them with the low end too rich so maybe that is causing the problem.
