MDS .58 -- Any Opinions?
It seems the MDS .58 may be a good way to bump up the power of a .46 with only an ounce or two more weight. I noticed most .60 sized engines are about 6 more ounces than their .46 counterpart.
I've read the MDS requires a gallon or two to really break in.
Just wondering how the .58 is...?
What prop?
What type of aircraft?

Awesome, great power, great reliability, and great value. I had one for sale because I upgraded to a MDS .68 in my midget mustang but I decided to keep the engine and buy another airplane for it (a beater, Ultra Sport .60).
It does take a long time to break her in but that only means it will last longer in my opinion. Mine was run with a pitts muffler and absolutely ZERO carb problems with it.
11x6 or 11x7 APC is the way to go.
