i have a tower hobbies muffler and a OS 46FX on a Sig mid-star 40 .... i would like to try hang it on its prop ... what would be a good prop size to go it with ?

APC 12.25 X 3.75 or some of the 4" pitch props like the 12-4.

For some unknown reason, Tower is bad about not carrying the newer APC props even though some of them have been around 4 or 5 years.

But Horizon carries them.

oh i fogot one thing ... i live in the Bahamas (props cost 10 bucks) i have some 11x5's would those work for now ?.... i normally fly a 10x6 .... and im not shure aobut paying 10 bucks for a prop right now

11X5 will be better than the 10X6, but you will do better with one of the other props already mentioned. To hover, and pull out, you need as large of a diameter and as flat of pitch as possible to get maximum static thrust.
