I have a model 6002 that is really difficult to start. Once started it runs fine but if it quits it does not want to start again. What should the fuel and bleeder screws be set at to get it started? Compression seems to be fine and fuel flows seems to be adequate. I have a home made starter that I use to start it that attaches to an electric drill, would the drill speed have any effect on starting. These questions may be real obvious but I'm a newbie and its been just trial and error so far....mostly the latter.

If the engine runs lean and heats up, it will stop sucking fuel. Try going a little richer on the top end. Typically, the high end should be at about 2 1/4 turns to start. The air bleed about 1/2 to 3/4 open.
