Enya 50CX Very Very Tight at TDC
I just purchased a new 50CX and when i turn it over by hand it gets very tight as the piston reaches top dead centre. It feels very tight at this point and you can rotate the crank shaft back and forth a reasonable amount without the piston moving at all. Just wondering if this is normal, as the engine turns very smoothly until this point.

This is normal. The ABC engines are always tight at the top. While the piston isn't moving, the crankshaft/connecting rod still have to pass TDC. This is what you are noticing.
