Default OS .46FX non ringed or ringed H pattern?

Ok was looking to place my order from Tower hobbies today but am unsure if I should be getting the non ringed with muffler or the ringed H patterm for my avistar MK II .46 trainer. Any help would be great thx.

Is the 46FX available with a ring now? In that case the choice is simple...get the ringed version.

Can you please explain the reason to get a ringed engine rather than a non ringed? this is my first RC plane/trainer and I am buying so much stuff I am having a hard time sorting it all out Thanks for understanding

The "H" version is for Helicopters (larger heat sink head) and is a ringed engine unlike the normal 46FX which is is ABN. To make a long story short - you want the regular 46FX for your trainer.

The 'H' version costs a lot more than the R/C airplane version.

Default Buy the .46 FX

The "H" one is for helis. You want the .46 FX Non-Ringed w/ muffler shown HERE

I am also visiting two of the bigger clubs here in San Diego this weekend to see which one suit sme better as far as people and location. Hope to be flying soon
