OS .46 Muffler on Irvine .53?
Problem: The long Irvine .53 muffler won't fit in the available cut-out space in the belly of my GSP Giles 3D. The engine is going to be canted at about a 45 degree angle, with the muffler down the middle. I can't use a Mac's one-piece or Tower muffler either...too long.
Has anyone tried the 46FX muffler on an Irvine .53? I noticed that the muffler for the 50FX is the same as the 46, so maybe it's not that big a deal. I'm worried about it being too restrictive and losing power. I'l be turning APC 12.25x3.75, 12x4, & 13x4 props.
