Has anyone had any experience with an Irvine 72 2stroke? Just got one and it seems to be a power house.

if it runs anything like my irvine .53 should be very good... I have one in box that I will put on a Swallow 90 they're very good engines.... afriend has a 1.50 on a cap 232 and another one waiting for a sukoi.. none of the irvines we have at the club has flamed out while flying...

I have one and it is an excellent engine. although a little heavy it runs great and has an excellent carb. will turn big props quite well. think 91 fx without the bugs.

I have an Irvine 72 on a Super Stick 60 turning a 12x8 prop. Very strong engine. Plane has unlimited vertical. Took a while to break in but now runs very reliably. It seems to get stronger every time I take it up.
