As for "thingamajig", if you don't understand what it is and how it works I'll be quite happy to PM you with an explanation.

You've just made my day...

No, I did not miss that part, but the previous photo showed the 'thingamajig' with the short 'attachment', so I remarked to what you actually showed; that it might be too short for your BlueBird 'demonstrator' engine...


And mind you... that drill-bit should not be too sharp, or point at the piston... It can perforate it, if force is applied to turn the crankshaft, with a prop...


But my input; all of it, is still correct.
