46 FX carb
Are there any carbs i can out on my Fx besides the stock OS one ? i was looking on tower and didn't see any compatible with it....thanks.

Conley products - used to be Perry carbs - lists a carb for the 46FX - I have used them and they are excellant replacements and cheaper than the OS carb

Yes i understand what you are saying... but i was buying a new carb for one of my 46FXes and i was just wondering what my options were.....

Avistar23 - I stand corrected - they list the 1300S for the 46SF - which was the model b4 the FX - it may or may not fit - you would need to compare the the inside diameter of the engine throats - sorry if I misled you

I really don't think so!
There are plenty of other choices you can use for your 46FX (Magnum, Royal, ASP, etc - OS clones will likely fit) although outside of Perry carbs most other brands will likely not run as well as the original OS carb. My second choice for your 46 FX would be the carb off an OS 46SF - #4D. The 4D would be an excellent substitute and would provide you with a front needle with the same performance as the original carb on our 46FX.

I stand corrected.
The current Magnum/ASP line has OS style side-screw carburettors.
I am not sure, though, whether they are of manufacturing quality, equivalent to that of the OS standard carburettors.

This is a #40B Carb by OS Max for the 40-46 FX and 50 SX series engines.
