Can anyone tell me if the rings in the Enya .45 (6001) are free floating , or pinned?

You can tell by looking into the exhaust port.

If the exhaust port in the sleeve is a bunch of square holes (not one or two rectangles) then there is no pin

Yep, they're free. All the 40,45 and 60 baffled piston engines have unpinned rings.

I ran mine on 75/25 all castor and at a guess it did a couple of hundred hours before I changed the rings because it was beginning to take a couple of flicks to start.
