Hey, not sure if this is the right spot for this forum or not....
Anyway....
I recently bought a used jato on craigslist for like $90. It runs pretty good and all, but he seller said "you are probably gonna have to get a new engine soon, cause i ran it alot and i cant believe its still running." I'm kinda on a budget of around $200. The engine in it right now is the 2.5 trx.

So can you guys sugest any engine that is FAST, and reliable?

Use an air filter and run 16% to 18% lube in your fuel. You could use airplanes fuel in your truck. Your motor will love the additional lube. When you tune it drop the max RPMs down a couple hundred. You're not going to be winning races on just the motor anyway till your skill level is built up so why toast your motor.

Well, my skill level is very. very high, I used to race my friends nitro trucks all the time. I know more about elctric then nitro... I just want a fast and reliable engine to race. i just dont know that much about nitro engines.
