Default Black Widow tank on a Killer Bee or Surestart??

Does anyone know if the tank assembly from a Black Widow or other .049 can be mounted to a Surestart .049?

I'm planning on using the Surestart on a 2M glider, but the stock plastic white tank is a joke. It was designed for a non-rc helicopter(up,down, that's it). I've only gotten 20 seconds out of it on the test bench so far. I could probably externally mount a 1 oz tank, but I think the attached tank would be less overhead.

Thanks,

Robert

There's no reason why it wouldn't fit. These engines all used the same crank case.

Thanks John,

That's what I suspected. I just won another .049 on ebay and if it runs poorly, I'll switch the tank to my newest engine.

What part of Texas are you in. I'm relocated down here in the DFW area from Chicago(damn yankees ).

Take care,

Robert

Robert,
I'm in the Austin area. Specifically, Florence which is about 40 miles north/north/west of Austin out in the sticks
