MVVS 20 Twin #3093 Good engine ?
I have blueprint for an Edge 540 which I will start to build this winter (I'm early, I know, but I like to plan ahead )
I'm planning to build it at about 24%, with a wingspan of 72"
From what I see on mfg sites that offer Edges in comparable size, a plane this size would require an engine about 1.2 cu.in. (2-stroke)
Now, I want to try a multi-cylinder engine for a change, and was thinking about the MVVS 1.20 twin, item nr 3093 as stated by MVVS. They are quiet cheap engines compared to other brands..
Here's a pic:
1) Is this a good engine ? What are your experiences with MVVS engines ?
2) would this be a good engine for this plane ? I think and I will try the keep the planes total weigth around 10 lbs, but I'm guessing here...
Thank!

Just got mine today, so I can't quite comment on the running aspect of the engine. But from fresh out ofhte box, so far I'm liking it. Just b sure to use very low to no nitro in it. They are designed exactly for this. Do a search, there's a lot of info out there.
