Default Info on an Enya needed

I recently got a boat with an Enya engine in it. It appears to be a aircract type with a marine cooling sleeve bolted like a hose clamp around the cylinder. My question is about the engine. It has the markings of "Enya 60X" on it but I can't seem to find any information about the engine any where. Does any one know where I can go to get some specs and so fourth?

IIRC, the Enya .60X was Enya's first iteration of a 10cc schneurle ported engine. I presently own a Mk. IV and one that just says X on the case. Haven't ran either yet, but if they ran like the samples that I saw flying (and flew) in the Seventies and Eighties, they are powerful and very pleasant/reliable engines.

Jim, W8YE, has put you on the prop path with the presentation of the engine's operating manual.

Thanks for the info guys. I think I have got a winner here. I can't wait to put her in the water and see what it will do. Never had a boat befor and this thing looks like a rocket.

The 60X, or 60XF, came out in Oct '74 and the XF-II in early '83. AFAIK the first (XF-I) were all ringed engines then XF-II onwards were AAC although some were ringed. The series type should be stamped on the side of the left hand mount lug the way mine has III stamped on it.

I have 2 Enya 60XF/REwith pump. there were never better engines made then these. The pump is gear driven and something that OS would die for if they could cheapen it up and put it on one of their engines. Shame that I'm not using them now.

O.K. guys I have one more question for you. Where is the best place or person to get a header for this engine? As I said, it is in a boat so I want to put a straight pipe which I can fabricate but I would like to use a header on the engine. Just thought you all might know the best place to get one from.

Thanks man that's exactly what I was looking for. You must have a computer installed in your head to know all the stuff you do. Thanks again!
