There's no difference between the series I and series II valve parts. They will interchange

No, it is the same spring. I would not modify these valve springs, if you have float it could allow the valve to strike the piston crown and do lots of damage.

Better to spend the $3 and get the right spring.

this is what was recomended to me

http://www.toysonics.com/45460200-o....-osmg9240.html

but hey ill order a couple of those to!
the one that broke is actually from the trigger action to a glock 40 but it broke after like 5 gallons then letting sit and rust for 2 years so modification isnt always bad if you know what to adjust

Yea, that spring in your link is the wrong one for your 70 surpass.

Valve springs are engineered to survive millions of cycles before failing. I still would not modify any valve spring, the open and closed pressures need to be within certain tolerances. Too much pressure will cause excess friction and wear on valvetrain parts, while too little will allow valve float.

I have a .40 Glock also (G23) and I'm pretty sure they would not design those springs to survive the punishment they will see in your OS engine.
