Default OS 28F-H part

Does anyone know of someone who carries parts for these engines? I'm needing a piston ring for one and am having a tough time locating one. P/N 22703400.
Any help would be appreciated.

these engines have been discontinued for many years and parts are obsolete.there is a member here on rcu that makes rings .i believe his name is bowman or dave bowman.i have his e-mail address somewhere with list of rings.he advertises over 200 and will do custom rings if you buy two.

Were you successful in getting a ring(s) for your OS .28F-H? If so, please advise how and where I may find one. I need a ring for mine as well. I have found the pin, rod, and some fasteners, but cannot find part number 22703400 piston ring.

Man, that's taxing my memory! I can't find my info but did a search and found this address:

Frank bowman
1211 N. allen
Farmington, New Mexico 87401-3568
(505) 327-0696

I purchased the ring that I needed from Frank and have yet to do the rebuild as my need for that engine disappeared.

Hopoe that helps- If I find my info in the near future, I'll post it.

I've got one of these engines that's still in good shape. I have no use for it, anyone interested in buying it, send me a PM.

Frank & I just spoke on the phone! He has my ring(s). I have negotiated a deal for them and they are as good as shipped. Turns out that he does make them himself!
