Default OS FS40 vs FS40S

Can anyone tell me the difference between the FS40 and FS40S. I just bought a FS40 on ebay and I am trying to find the manual, but on the os web site they only list the FS40S which looks almost the same except for the valve cover.

Any suggestions on breaking this motor in. I am planning on using this engine for my Waco 30 bipe.

Thanks,

Marcel.

fs40s is the newer version of the engine the s stands for surpass.engine is suppossed to have larger valves to increase power.engine operation should be the same except for the valve lash i would imagine.
