Default how hot is a muffler for a Webra 50?

I have a muffler on a Webra 50 that has come apart, I really would like to try to "fix" it, I know that JB's weld won't last, I have some high temp adhesive at work, that I may try, I was also thinking about using some "electrical" type tape to help hold it in place, one tape that I have will work up to 221 degrees, I can get some other stuff that goes up to 440 degrees. What do you think?

Thanks

Jon

If it's the older style muffler, and the back part has come loose, the common fix is pop rivets.

JB weld Marine usually works, it can withstand 300°C (appr. 570°F).

Thanks guys, I had put in 3 rivets before, but when I drilled, only 1 of the rivets held, I added a few more rivets and that should hold it, thru tomorrow until I get a new mufflere from my webra dealer.

If you don't mind a permanent solution, have it TIG welded.
