Default Saito Twins, boxers?

I was drooling over some Saito twins, and wondered what the difference between the two styles is. Specifically, what is the advantage of the boxer style (I think that's what it's called) engine? Which one performs better? These have the cylinders offset: one is further forward than the other, as opposed to both cylinders perfectly symetrical. I believe the boxers have a double throw crankshaft and are supposed to be smoother runners, but I don't know for certain. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, look at the 100 twin or larger vs. the 60 and 90 twins. The boxer type share a common cam with the push-rods on the bottom of the engine and have those sweet looking valve covers. The other type have the standard valve covers and each cylinder has it's own cam. Has anyone run both styles to compare the difference?

Default Saito .90 TS

I have a .90 TS and you are right it is smooth as silk, the look is supposed to be a knock off of a Continental full scale engine. The .60 also. The others have the pistons more or less travel back and forth in unison, I've never owned or run one of those.

I have a 60T, and it runs so smoothly. Even when I get the idle down to 1200 RPM (not a typo), there is virtually no vibration. I haven't run the other style, but I can imagine it vibrates like a single cylinder.
