Exhaust deflector on tower muffler?

I installed a tower hobbies muffler on my os46fx. The outlet is too small for a .46 size exhaust seflector. A 20-34 ci deflector fits perfectly. Which would you use?

I have found them to nothing but kill the RPM, & they want to straighten out in flight & don't help the mess any. Your better off to make sure all exposed wood is protected & live with the oil. MAX H.
