Default OS 91 FX

Went to buy an OS91FX today only to be told they were being discontinued and were out of stock.

Anyone else heard this?

Shop the classified ads here, as well as Ebay. You can often times find new in box engines...and you'd get them for less than the new AX series.

Although, the AX is a great motor.

... and the .91FX is clearly better than the new AX anyway ... Surely FX was more expensive to manufacture
and seems OS decided to save some money... Thus it might be difficutl to buy on eBay than cheap FX as it
was couple years ago, but I might be wrong ... it is worth checking. FX is a great engine ! Seems stupid to
me to discontinue it, but money are needed for VIPs too...

I'd like to hear the answer to that as well. I've got a .91FX I've used for years and love it. But I've also got 4 AX series engines and they all run great with power.

I don't know if the 91 FX is better than the 95 AX or vise versa but you can find some good deals out there on the discontinued 91 FX. I bought a NIB 91 FX on ebay for $150. A good deal in my opinion.

Me 2,

i want to hear a side to side comparison of the 91 FX/AX engines.
But i also want to read some comparison prop/rpm numbers ,
otherwise i guess you don't compare the engines,
or you just compare them only cosmetically!

In which,
the AX is ,for my eyes, a better looking engine!
