OS 7D Carb
I'm reading a lot about this carb and i know it is a suppose to be a good one and being a super tigre guy its the one to use but where do you get it??? they don't make it anymore. Tower Hobbies has some of the individual parts. what is the one that you are using to replace it?

RE: OS 7D Carb
This carb works great on any twostroke engine larger than 15cc and up to the Super tiger G4500. Can sometimes be found on the ebay. I would also look at different hobby stores, call and ask them as it might be laying around somewhere without anyone asking for it. Not sure if Tower has all the parts to make a whole carb.?

RE: OS 7D Carb
You may get the magnum carb for the 108...I think it is quite similar to what you are looking for.
I bought one to put in my MDS 148 (25cc)
It is a very good carb and it is quite cheap.

RE: OS 7D Carb
Not sure there is anything wrong with Perry's aftermarket carbs for the same engines. The few Perrys I do have adjust easily and work great. The 7D is a well made carb that holds a good mixture throughout the speed range, and has a bit more intake area than some of the carbs on those bigger engines that it replaces, so they often see a bit of a power gain and still retain good manners.

RE: OS 7D Carb
I tried the 7D on my tigre 2300, and could adjust is very well throughout the rpm range.
However, a heavily Modded ST carb did just as well or even better. Being of larger venturi bore the ST carb was used instead because of better power. Even down to 6000 rpm on very large props. The 7D carb now is as good as new in box, used only once.
