I have now ran my new .15 XLS some, and as usual trying to get the most out of it

Bone stock it turns APC 7-6 at 15600 rpm (0.34 hp).

After removing one headshim and some dremelling work on the sleeve and fitting a pipe from a boat (Miss Vegas) it now turns the same prop 18300 rpm and puts out 0.55 hp, which is more than advertised.

These results was with some old left over fuel and I suspect fresh fuel will improve it further. Tomorrow I will try some high nitro fuel to see what happends then[8D] I have a gallon of Rapicon 45/20 boat fuel

The engine idle and throttles great and will propably get its maiden flight tomorrow in my new Fashination .15

But remember if you use 20% nitro...use a second head shim and a cooler plug (Rossi 6 ,7 or 8 perhaps).

Rapicon 45/20 gave me 18600 rpm and 0.58 hp

If you can find a good Norvel 15 grab it.

my aquacraft .18 converted to air use will turn a 8x3 20000 rpm on 0% nitro 16% all castor and the pipe from my vegas.
