Saw a post recently (I don't think it was in this forum though) where someone had tested various engines or it may have been testing fuels on different engines. It was only partially reposted where I read it but it was supposed to come from this tread. Anyone have any information on this post? I'd like to see the original or the complete post. I'm trying to learn about glow engines and the differences between em. Not this brand vs that brand but the differences between 2 stroke vs 4 stroke vs gas for the same application.
For example if I wanted to compare say a 90 size two stroke vs what size 4 stroke vs a gas engine? How would I go about it? And that's even before I get to comparing brands. So, I'd like to see a list from the smallest 2 stroke up to whatever the largest rc engines are, relative to their 4 stroke and gas equivalent, if they exist.
I know a lot of what people post on these forums may be more opinion than fact but I'm talking about a list that is not so much this brand vs that brand but more of just the facts. size, weight, rpm, thrust etc etc.
Sounds like a lot of work for all the engines out there but maybe just maybe someone has already done this or something close?

I'm gonna attempt to attach a spread sheet of engine info. Just see how it goes.
Apparently it worked. I'm not going to anticipate your "huh?" questions so I'll just respond to your posts to explain content that's not obvious. Yea, there's a database hanging around that has much more including heli, boat & dirt.

I had a spreadsheet I downloaded from Compuserve. Anyone remember them? I think it was originally in Lotus 123 and I later converted it into Excel which had come out at that time. It was loaded with info and technical specs that I don't think I would ever probably understand. Alas I lost it in a hard drive crash and haven't been able to find it since. I wonder if anyone has it in some forgotten corner of their hard drive. It was pre Google so I'm sure anything that was on it is available on the net but it was nice to have it all in one place.

Yeah even with google and a great resourse like rcu, its still hard to find stuff because it could be called so many differfent things. So we end up trying to reinvent the wheel.
