Just thought I would share my latest little project. I needed a remote needle valve (radio adjustable) for a OS91 heli motor with a pump and regulator. Getting to the needle valve in the cowl would be a pain.
Turns out that the BVM remote needle valve has the same threads for mounting as the OS needle valve housing. So after a little lathe work on the BVM valve and a modified dubro heavy duty control horn, I was able install the new valve on the motor.
Hopefully in the next week I will be able to test run the set-up. Now that the weather is nice, I am scrambling to finish a model I've been working on for 2 years (the shame is that is an ARF I am working on).

OS already sells a device like this

It would have saved you a little work but then you would have missed out on the "pride of accomplishment factor"?

I had one similar to that one, but it will not work on the 60M carb. The needle valve seats in the carb and will not work with the regulator or banjo fittings. I am also thinking about putting one on a ST carb.
If I would ever stop working on the little gadgets, I may actual finish a plane.

The set-up works well, not that this engine needs any adjustment in the air. The engine has amazing throttle response on a pipe.
Just need to get the idle slowed down.

I've used the OS inflight remote on several models and it works great. Very nice to be able to control the engine mixture from a knob on the tranny... and use mixture curves.<div>
</div><div>The only thing I see about you excellent version is the control arm could slip some... but cool job anyway.</div>
