Default Saito Carb question

The housing for my high speed needle will not tighten up. It will not pull out, but pulls out about 1/16 of an inch. It will also turn back and forth until the fuel line catches it. I had to rebuild it about one year ago. Any ideas on how to fix it or did I miss something?
Thanks Alan

The spray bar screws in from the inside of the carb body

The needle valve body screws into the spray bar from the outside

If the spray bar is tight inside the body and the needle valve body is locked to the body with the jam nut, it should remain tight?

w8ye,
The needle valve body slid in to the carb with a nut on the outside to hold it. I can't hold the body to tighten up the nut on the outside. Uless my carb is messed up from when the original carb body broke up.

The needle valve body, from the outside, threads into the spray bar on the inside of of the carb body. The nut jams and locks it all together in the desired position.

w8ye,
The high speed housing has two flat sides on it that if a wrench would fit in the carb you could hold it still with. Well I got smart and used a pair of tweezers. So it does not spin any more. One last question though. Should the low speed side slide in and out about 1/16 inch?
Thanks Alan

Yes, when you open and close the carb, the carb barrel (with the low speed screw in it) will move in and out (as you open and close the throttle)
