I have just aquierd a Saito SA 220. The guy I got it from does not know how old it is, as he is not the original owner. Is there a way to tell how old the engine is?

It is not over about 6 yrs old because that is as long as they have been making them

There's a little letter stamped on the top of the right mounting lug like A, B, or C

So what letter does it have on it? "A" would be 2005?

Why do you want to date it? They have not been in circulation for that long, one of the newest models saito has.
