RE: Would anyone recommend an MVVS?
 

Well after having to wait so long I finally got to run one of my MVVS 49's today.
I have broken many engines in from OS to TT to GMS even had a FOX.74 etc etc never have I been able to do it without an electric starter. I set the carb per instructions, primed it and flipped it over and much to my surprise she fired right up. I was a little concerned to be honest, I am really used to the piston being really tight at TDC, GMS was probably the tightest but, anyway this .49 seems to be increasing in compression every stroke, insane. I don't know if I'll switch back to anything else after this, I wonder if I will be able to say, "I have never used an electric starter on these engines" :D
