then I will stock up on them, os plugs you say? Is it like the great "os" engines from china? Same or even better than the original at half the price, he he.

I've used them for 7 years. In a two stroke, I use nothing else.

Are they EXACTLY the same as the OS plugs ?? I have read that the cheaper tower plugs use less platinum on the element which makes them cheaper, but that they are not as good and dont last as long also. Is this true ?

They are a little hottor than a OS #8. They are more like a OS #3. I had one in a engine for 100 flights. The only reason for not any more flights was that I traded the engine off. They seem to last a long time.

The only way to tell them from a OS plug is that there is no name on the side. The OS plugs will have a OS 8 written on the side.

Have I had one beer to many or is it cheaper to buy two sets of 6 plugs than one set of 12 plugs?

You have to keep a close eye on Tower and their pricing games.

Yeh last year we got "Bax" to tell us they are A-3 clones. I have a bunch of them. They work well for me. Problem is remote glow driver caps don't fit well over them so I use McCoys on the ones I have glow drivers on.

no I don`t blow a lot of plugs. I don`t blow a lot of engines either but still like the cheap os clones, same with plugs. Why pay more??

With a few adjustments to the clip and it fits. The real OS plugs give the same trouble.

They aren't cheap, they just cost less. Big difference in definition there.

Cheers,

Yeh, had the same problem with #8 but the caps fit great on McCoys
