KB 48 bearing replacement
How do you get the crankshaft out of the bearings ?. I want to replace the bearings. Have done lots of other engines but this one is a mystery ! Thanks for any help Jim W |
RE: KB 48 bearing replacement
I think you need to remove the head/cylinder and sneak the connecting rod/piston out the top. Mecoa should have some instructions/exploded view of the engine.

RE: KB 48 bearing replacement
Thanks for the help. I could not get the drive washer (or whatever you call it) off the crankshaft. Finally put some heat on it and it broke loose. The crank dropped right out. Problem solved Jw |
