Please get yourself an inexpensive digital caliper. You'll always know exactly what bearings to buy. No guessing.

Xjet i had spoke with the company i boaught the bearings and this is what they said

"Seals and shields are situated between the inner and outer rings of the bearing. The purpose of seals and shields are to protect the inside of the bearing from contaminants and to help prevent the leakage of lubricant from the bearing.

He said that bearing is for that motor......and said he has had no troubles in the past...
Clearly, based on your pictures, the replacement bearing is *not* the same as the original.

Do not use it. If your supplier says it's the same then ask why is it a different size.

RE: Thunder Tiger pro 61

Ok guys i have ran this klots 200 oil for about 3 yrs now, and i didnt think i had much problem, Now i have checked all the pistons on my motors and this is what i have found
My os motors Piston are pretty clean, But the glow plugs themselves are near black ( Not sure if this is ok ) But are still working fine
But my THunder tiger motors pistons have got plenty more carbon build up not sure why as my os motors have had more run time.
i have also checked my 4 strokes and the glow plugs are black and still working and the pistons are pretty much squeaky clean
ok In my 2 strokes i have been running 5% castor, 15% synthetic ( Klots 200 ) and 5% nitro. Should this be ok?
and in my 4 strokes i been running 20% synthetic ( Klots 200 ) 5 % nitro...

Now my question is, Is it normal for my glow plugs to be this black ( I do run them rich but not overly rich )
and what is an alternative good oil to run in all My motors being from thunder tiger 46 to 120's to Os 46 to 160, also dont forget my 4 strokes:) I mean is the Klots 200 Oil no good at all?? i normally mix 5% of cool power fortiied castor in it anyways...
Cheers.

I have found Klotz to be fantastic oil. I use it exclusively and have always had good results. I'm not a big fan of castor. I can't say for certain why your plugs are discoloring but castor, in general, will varnish/carbon up an engine. I know dis'in castor is going to ruffle feathers, but love or hate castor, I think we can all agree it turns things black.

From what you describe I would say your engines are healthy. I have found that no mater what fuel I run, the plug body often does not stay shinny new. The element will often go from shinny to gray and sometimes, very near the plug body, it will accumulate a black deposit. All these are normal.

Pictures would help.

As a side note, the other day I was testing some new fuel dye. When I test a new dye I add a lot more than I would for a normal batch and then ran the engine a few hours on the test bench to check wear. The idea is that with 10 times more dye than normal, problems should show up sooner. Attached are a few pictures. Your piston doesn't look like this does it?;):D It is interesting to note that the pink is dying the oil film left after running and this piston washed clean with a little methanol. It actually ended up showing where the oil film is thinner.
