looking for ideas on servo size and strenght
I am in the process of building a 1/4 scale Dave Platt Waco....top and bottom wings pretty well done. now I need to install the wood braces for the servos....need some ideas on which way to go on size and torque on the servos..I have a JR radio for my trainer I started with and accomplished at flying, was hoping to stay with this radio due to costs, but would change if needed,.........any ideas would be totally appreciated thax

Keye, I flew my 72 inch Pica Waco with regular size Futaba ball bearing servos. 2 aileron one for each side. Over 200 flights before selling the model. Of course great care was taken to insure no binding of the linkage and such.

Don't give up, these are busy times, especially the weekend before Christmas. I am sure you will get many helpful suggestions. Some maybe from your local hobby shop.
I am just entering giant scale and have a lot to learn and little yet to teach. But others here on RCU have been very helpful.
Good luck.
Sincerely,
Richard
