Default Vintage RC Airplane Identification Problem

I bought this plane at a swap meet years ago and I finally set it up but would like help identifying it.
I have no idea what the balance point should be which stops me from attempting a maiden flight.
Anyone out there know of this plane?Top Flite? (only because of the TF on the tail. . . . could be the previous owners initials)
- Each individual wing has the same measurement of 9-1/2" by 37-5/8".
- Combined width of the two wings mounted on the fuselage is 13".
- Fuselage length from nose minus engine to end of rudder is 41-3/8".

Thanks so much R/C Pilot 304 !!!
It is so much easier to look up information on a plane when one has a name to go with the face . . . . .
it appears the Top Flite Hot Kanary kit came out around 1982 and mine is missing the usual pilot mounted on the top of the fuselage just ahead of the upper wing.
