I checked SAM, jessiej, and stand corrected on the B Special wing span.

I could also be wrong that the C Special does not have the wing slots. Can anyone verify this?

Looking through July 1936 issue of Flying Aces "Build a Gas Model!" Send for our new plans of the record breaking ship. The "Buccaneer" A flight-tested 7ft 4 in wingspan model that can be powered with any reliable gasoline engine rated between 1/8 and 1/4 HP. Cost less than $10.00 to build. The two big sheets 22" x 34" Accurate clear and detailed. Mail YOUR 50 cents to Berkeley Model Supplies 53 Berkeley Pa F-13 Brooklyn N Y.. No zip code !! Just a tidbit.......Oh, the ad said it was worth four times the price !!!! Don-Basehor, Ks

The big Bucs's were quite a nice air plane both in building & flying . You troops building the B & C Specials must be on a nostalgia high . I think they are not worth the effort . So many better flying & easier built planes out there . It is so far down my list I would need to dig my basement deeper to put the plans . Have fun ! MAX H.

OK: Here goes , My first choice would be for a cabin plane would be the Powerhouse 84", #2- 84" Quaker , #3- Trenton Terror 72",#4- Mercury 72", The Quaker & Mercury have a little more building than the other two but make good sport fliers . For more performance the Playboy Sr. is a good choice 80" . #2-I like the Pacer "C",60" . These are the ones that I have flown quite a bit & enjoyed .Have a friend flying a Super Buccaneer & it flies quite well, built it from a partial kit I had , lots of parts & 90" wing !There will be people that won't agree with me but these I have built & flown. MAX H.
