ST 60 with two plugs
I came across this ST with two glow plugs and I have to admit that I have never seen anything like it before. It looks pretty much the same as the Blueheads but with a different cylinder head. The muffler is definitely not ST, it seems to be a converted HB/Veco muffler.
I would be very glad to get more information on this engine.

RE: ST 60 with two plugs
I have a couple of G-71 with an original Twin-Plugs head. The time frame is late '60s, early '70s. Even if Supertigre carbs were really getting reliable, the fear of losing the engine during the spin was still very high, and therefore the use of a twin-plugs head (like Merco and Fox, for instance) in the attempt to have a low but safe idle.
The muffler could be Supertigre in the aft section, but not int the front one.

What you have there is a ST G-60. I had one of those in the early 70's. It came out before the BlueHead 60. Not nearly the power.
Your muffler looks like a converted OS muffler, the G60 had a rotating baffle, no muffler. Good reliable engine, ST came out with the Bluehead to get into the pattern market. The G60 never had the umph!
