Waco 1/5 SRE
Would anyone know where I may find some color photo's of this model as a uc-72 military transport?would like to do a military version ut only 12 were impressed into duty.

In my research of Waco’s I have not seen any color photos of the SRE in military dress. Most pictures taken in color were on film and the dyes shift the colors slightly due to age. My suggestion is to find a decent Black and White of you subject, note where and if there are color changes such as from Olive Drab to Light Grey. As you may know Olive Drab can be anywhere from a greenish muddy brown to a dark grey/green and the Light Grey also varied. Check to see what Theater of Operations (Europe, Pacific) the plane was used in and what colors where used during the subject planes impression. Many planes were returned to their owners after the war and were recovered/restored shortly there after.
You may want to contact Andy Hiens at the National Waco Club to see if he has any photos of the kind you are looking for.
