Great Planes J-3 Cub 60
Great Planes,
I'm glad to see you started laser cutting the parts for the rudder, stab, elevator, fin, and wing tips. Why though if you go through the trouble to laser cut these parts why not the whole kit? The rest of the pieces were cut pretty well cut there were a few that needed a bit of work. Also my canopy was pinched in the back of it maybe adding some sort of support would keep this from happening.

Laser cutting is slow and expensive. If the entire kit were laser-cut, it would have to be sold for a higher price and there would not be as many available. The higher price point alone would reduce sales to the point that the kit would most likely be slated for discontinuation, if not already discontinued. Laser-cutting is also not suited for high-volume production. As a result, it's used for certain parts that don't die-cut well, but not for others.
