Default Hey Bax.....j3 60 wing saddle question

I'm building that j-3 60 i asked about before. I have a question about the wing saddle. When the wing is set on the plane there is a gap between the trailing edge and F-3. You can see this in the manual in a picture on page 35 right above step 3. My plane also has this gap. My question is what's the gap there for and how will it be covered up?

Thanks

The small gap is likely there to allow room for fitting the wing. Once you have the wing fitted onto the fuselage, and the wing bolt holes drilled, you can use a small piece of scrap to fill it in. Sand smooth, and when you cover it, it won't be seen.
