I would like to know what the kit box dimenions are for the TF P-51 .60 gold edition?

The reason I ask is because Tower Hobbies will ship this kitset to me, but only via UPS world wide saver at $132.84US. If the kit box is within shipping limits I can get a friend in the USA to ship the kit to me via other means (USPS) and keep the cost down.

I have looked at the local prices here and $658NZ is a bit steep.

Here are the dimensions. It's basically restricted to shippers other than the Postal Service because the box is too large for International Air Post.

I got my friend to order one from Towers and then forward it to me via USPS Priority Mail International at about $50. If its no more than 60" long and 108" total, it can be sent. Its a pitty that Towers don't give this option, but thats life. Tower hobbies is still where 90% of my gear comes from.

A wing kit is not available. You may, however, order the parts needed to build a wing. Please contact:

I ordered the parts to replace the wing on mine. I would say if you are replaceing one half of the wing just order the parts. If you are replacing the whole wing it is just as cheap to order the whole kit.
