GP Giant Aeromaster Kit --- CG?
Just finished up an 8 year old GP Giant Aeromaster kit. She went together very nicely. My question is that the manual calls for the CG to be set at 2 7/8" behind the leading edge of the lower wing. But the plans measure the CG out to 3 1/4" behind that leading edge. I generally go with what's on the plans.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

RE: GP Giant Aeromaster Kit --- CG?
I would say you have probably defined the min / max position of the designed CG. The actual optimal CG location for your plane will be somewhere between them. Why don't you put a couple of marks on the underside of the wing at those numbers, and then set your initial CG directly between them, at 3 1/16"? You will definitely be close enough for your initial flights and should be able to easily shift components later to fine tune it after you have flown the plane.

That's where I set it up. Was just hoping to hear if anyone had seen this or had experience one way or another.
Thanks!
