has anyone out there made there own skids for the axe ez heli and if so please let me know how and what you used. thanks all

I was always breaking the tips of my skids. So I took them off completely and superglued the round center piece (directly under the battery) of the foam ball training gear set and called it good. I always use the balls for landing I dont see myself getting that good consistently anytime soon so they are good enough for me. If you get reel good you could always shorten the rods the balls are hooked to.
