Default PROBLEMS with blade grips

Ok i broke the one blade grip so i go to change it couldn't get the screws unloosed ok found out needed two screw drivers now are the screws reverse thread? Cause i just broke the one off in the shaft[:@] And is there anything i can do to keep this from happening again thanks

I believe your talking about the Axe CP.
Vito at this point if I were you I'd cut my losses, and get a new feathering shaft (unless you can get the broken screw out) and replace the phillips head screws with 2mm x 6 cap screws. Cap screws are stronger and make changing blade grips easier. Anyway the screws are normal threads. The reason one broke is someone went overboard with loctite and there kinda weak. The only downside with capscrews is the higher profile head doesn't let the blades fold forward for storage, but one of the guys on RC Groups is working on getting allen head screws that are both stronger and will allow the blades to fold both ways. Hope this helps.

Sorry Yes it's the axe cp i was told they put lock tight on them at the factory
i just got new parts i just wanted to know if this was happening to evenyone or was it just my bad luck

hi...it was just your bad luck....put a new one in and make sure not to over tighten it....the original screws are fine....just take care not to over tighten..
