Not enough information to help. "Seems to need adjustment" ??? Are you using a balancer? Is your charger even capable of charging such a battery? What is the voltage reading after a charge and then after flying? Be sure you don't use the battery after voltage is down by 80% of rating. Just thinking about loud about what you are saying.

MarkZR7,
I think what you meant was you are using a 1250 mah battery. If you switch from the stock battery to a lipo, the voltage is a little higher when you first switch batteries. The battery pack might also be lighter than the stock one. With the higher voltage you'll get higher head speed. Combined with the lighter battery, the pitch of the blades at which the heli lifts off will be lower. This causes the torque to be lower, so the mixing to the tail is changed.
Basically, you have to adjust the tail rotor trim on your Transmitter to remove the tail "drift". I think mine flies 3-4 click to the left with a lipo. When I use the stock NiMh battery, I move the trim 3-4 clicks to the right before liftoff, and then fine tune.

I have bats that are over a year old on my plane
Just got two new 11.1 1250 for the helimax
Working great Plus they give very good support

hey MarkZR7
what do you for the connector to the heli? ...do you change this yourself or when you order the battery can you order it with the connect for the heli?
Also what charger do you use for this battery?

I changed it but they will do it for ya. Not much work
I have the blade cx2 the charger with it works fine but slow
it is also a balancer.I also have 2020 smart charger that works on car battery no balancing
So I try to use both All cheaper but they seem to work
