Default Tail rotor issue??

just checking the settings on my new axe, ran it up about half throttle, not enough to leave the ground and the tail rotor does not even spin yet. already having main rotor torque. it wants to begin spinning before the tail rotor is moving, is there a way to adjust when the tail motor kicks in?

It's normal. If you think it's excessive, consult your owners manual. It has pictures of tail gain, gyro and left/right stick bias on the 3-1. Be sure to mark the position of the pots before messing around so you can revert back to the original settings if you mess up.

Check your control unit and mess with the gain or the delay.

This in normal. You really can't tell if the heli needs adjusting until you start to get it into the air. Mine starts the tail at about 1/3 throttle while the main blades are going pretty fast. It will also rotate to the right on the ground, but holds in the air.
