I read somewhere on this forum about an Axe with a direct drive made possibly by GWS. I looked on the GWS site but couldn't find any detailed info about it. How does it work? Does it put alot of stress on the main motor and where can I find more info about such a part?

the most popular DD by gws is the cn12-rxc or the edf50H which are actually the same motor, one is just for the ducted fan. Anyways the props you use on them are either like a 4530 or a 3020, but I don't know how much thrust the stock tail has on the axe to compare the two tails
