Can anyone recomend a brushless motor for the Axe CP?
and if I get one, do I need to change the stock tail motor?
Also, Pros and Cons for both?
thanks!

If your talking about a BL main motor here's my recommendation. A [link=https://www.unitedhobbies.com/UNITEDHOBBIES/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=4211]KB20 2900Kv BL motor[/link] and a [link=https://www.unitedhobbies.com/UNITEDHOBBIES/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=4312]H-Wing 18A Pentium ESC[/link] w/ [link=https://www.unitedhobbies.com/UNITEDHOBBIES/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=2169]P-Card[/link]. This set-up will work with the stock pinion and Tx. You can also use any BL main motor with the stock tail. You just need to make parallel connections on the 3-in-1 and BL ESC for the radio and battery connections.
The BL tail is a bit more complicated. It needs high end components to work correctly due to the fact that the gyros, ESC's, and BL motors we're using on our tail set-ups were not intended for that purpose.
I'm using an Ammo 12-30-4110, GY240, and Phoenix 10 ESC with PC link. The motor isn't as important as the gyro and ESC. I went ith the 240 because that's what worked although I've seen some nice results with the Logitech 2100 due to it's programability. The ESC is the same way. It has to be highly programmable and top notch which is why the Phoenix is the ESC of choice.
BTW [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_5800101/tm.htm]here's my BL conversion thread.[/link] You may find it helpful.
Good Luck!
