Default Please Help

I replaced the blade grips on my Axe CP should they be snug or very loose in terms of spinning not the bolt itself. I tightened the bolt just like the manual said and they are snug Im new to helis and have no idea.

Make sure the O-rings are seated - try pulling the blade grips hard from either side to seat the O-ring - make sure you put some kind of lubricant on the O-rings, such as a lithium grease. It should be fairly loose, not binding.

And a little loctite on the spindle bolts too. Very important!

Right you are! Only the blue removable loctite on these parts that will be removed many times!

YES Loctite is a MUST (unless you have a very good medical insurance policy!!)

With the heli rider.

Would be a bit embarassing to go to the emergency room with a heli blade impaled in your forehead.

"Doc, we've got another case of someone not using loctite on their heli; looks like a possible frontal lobotomy."

Also in the future invest in some CNC aluminum blade grips. Save you time and money as the plastic blade grips are the most common thing that will break on the Axe CP.
With the CNC aluminum grips - the most that will break or come loose is the ball link rods which is a "snap" to put back in.

I have a pair of Axe CP's both fully upgraded with parts available at http://www.microheli.com They fly a lot better with all the upgrades.
These of course are just my lazy infront of the house helis when I don't feel like driving to the park or flying fields with my TREX 450 SEV2 and 600 pro nitro.
